サッカーのワールドカップはそのたびごとに感動的な讃歌を生み出してきた。今回も、FIFA自らOfficial Anthemを制定して、その普及を図っているようだが、どうもいまひとつといったところのようだ。（少なくとも日本では）
だが聞いてみると、歌詞といい曲といい、なかなかいい歌だ。恐らく試合の消化が進むにしたがって、日本人の中にも浸透していくのではないか。
作ったのは、ソマリア生まれのカナダ人アーティスト K'naan'。アフリカのストリートでサッカーの練習に明け暮れる少年たちをイメージしながら作ったという。
