始まりの歌
吟遊詩人の声を聞け
過去、現在、未来を見通し
その耳はとらえたのだ
聖なる言葉を
古の木々の森をこだまする声を
その声は異教の魂に呼びかけ
草のしずくにも染み渡り
星々のきらめく
北極を動かし
落日をもよみがえらせるのだ
大地よ、戻れ大地よ
しずくに濡れた草から立ち上がれ
夜は去った
朝日が昇る
まどろみのうちより目覚めて
もはや去ることをやめよ
去ることはやめて
夜明けの星を眺め
水辺に立ちつくせ
すっかり夜が明けるまでは

Who Present, Past, & Future sees
Whose ears have heard,
The Holy Word,
That walk'd among the ancient trees.
Calling the lapsed Soul
And weeping in the evening dew:
That might controll,
The starry pole;
And fallen, fallen light renew!
O Earth, O Earth return!
Arise from out the dewy grass;
Night is worn,
And the morn
Rises from the slumberous mass.

Why wilt thou turn away
The starry floor
The watery shore
